I’m 3 weeks away from getting my fourth laser treatment and am not getting the results as quickly as anybody thought, including my doctor. Would using wrecking balm between treatments help at all?

Other then a laser, and cutting your skin off.How can you remove a tattoo! And does those creams like Wrecking Balm work?

I have a lot of tattoos, full sleeve’s, legs, back and neck done. i know all about that wrecking balm stuff. what i am wondering, is if there are any physicians out there that teach med students how to remove tattoo’s and if they use people to teach there students how to remove them? i am looking for a laser treatment program i could get into that wont cost me thousands?

I have this tattoo that I HATE! I have other tattoos that I love, but this particular one I got on an impulse and it looks horrible. Initially I was gonna have it covered up with another tattoo, but now I’m not so sure. I just wish it was completely gone, but I’ve heard that laser removal is expensive and usually not covered by insurance. So does anyone know if those "tattoo removal creams" actually work? I have heard of one product called ‘wrecking balm’ but I’m wondering if it really works or is just another gimic? please some insight!

So I have this Chinese Character tattoo on my upper left back. I don’t want to remove it completely. There’s only a small part of it that i want to remove and it’s probably only like an inch long and not even half an inch wide. I didn’t realize that that part was a mistake until now and I want just a small part removed. I’ve read through some questions about tattoo removal creams and I’ve researched them. I don’t want to do laser for such a small area and I don’t have the money for that. I heard Wrecking Balm is really good but it looks like it costs a lot of money. Worst case scenario is that I get another tattoo to cover it up but the small mistake is in the middle of the Character. Should I use a tattoo removal cream? If so, which one should I use?
oh please answer if you have something helpful to say instead of being an assh*le about it. I know I got a chinese character for a reason so please respect that

I have a tattoo I would just like to have lightened enough to add a cover up without having to cover the whole tattoo just the work in the banner to be able to put my grandma’s name in it. Has anyone ever REALLY tried wrecking balm? does it in fact lighten the tattoo? is it work the cost? I don’t want the tattoo gone, just lightened so I can put my grandma’s name in the banner. Any help will be great.
Gew: your info is far from what i asked about. i was asking about tattoos not pimples

I have a Tattoo on my right forearm, i would like to have faded. I don’t need it removed but it is dark red and black and i would like it faded as much as possible and get it covered.

I was wondering if Wrecking Balm or these other creams work. I only want answers from people who have tried them personally. I dont want " i heard it dont work…. thats what i heard" or "my cousin said it works!" I want people who have tried it and if it works or not.

I’m in Nursing school, accepted based on grades alone… But, I have a tattoo on my wrist of the theatre masks that I got two years ago, before I believe that I would ever choose Nursing. At the time, I had planned to go into some kind of Art. Anyway, I’m not happy with the tattoo, never have been, but I’ve never been able to afford having it lasered off. Of course, I still don’t really have the finances to do it, but I don’t want to have all the qualifications and grades, and be declined because I got a stupid tattoo on a whim.

The tattoo is about an inch high and an inch wide, all black ink.

I’ve heard about some people using that Wrecking Balm stuff, but I’m a bit of a skeptic. At this point, I’m willing to try anything, but I’d like to avoid expensive laser removal for as long as I can.

Does anyone know about this Wrecking Balm solution, and if it actually works? My uncle said he tried it, but it only faded his tattoo. Of course, his was much bigger and much older than mine…
Well, it’s visible, and I know I’m not going to have the option all the time to wear long sleeves or jewelry considering I want to be a nurse.
Ella: The site you listed is based in England. I’m in the US.

What’s the best make up to use that’s found in the US?

Has anyone out there tried wrecking balm or tat-med topical tattoo removal? Any success stories

I am now looking at getting a tattoo lasered off, and then re-tattood in the same spot. I know about covers, but one wouldn’t be feasible for this circumstance (my current tattoo is solid & black).

I’ve also used Wrecking Balm for a couple of weeks, & my skin is a little scaly because of the dermabrasion process. After I let that heal, I’m going to be doing some laser removal consultations.

With all the stress I’m putting my skin through, will it still be possible to get re-tattood in the same spot? Will the tattoo hurt more?

I’d really appreciate people who have had a tattoo removed by laser & gotten the area re-tattood. Anything else would just be speculation, & I can speculate as well as anyone.

Thanks in advance.

Has anyone used a tattoo removal product that actually works like "wrecking balm"ETC? Thanks

I was very dumb when I was younger & I got the wrong zodiac sign tattooed on me. I know, I know. Spare me the lectures, please, & let me be an example to all you youngsters! PLEASE RESEARCH YOUR DESIGN BEFORE YOU GET IT INKED ON!!! Tattoo responsibly.

All rants aside, I’m now researching tattoo removal processes. I’m trying Wrecking Balm first. I know that many people have said it doesn’t work, but I also question how religiously they used it, & for how long, before they decided it doesn’t work. I’m almost positive this won’t remove my tattoo entirely. The plan is to use the Wrecking Balm for several months, until I fade it enough to get it lasered the rest of the way in one or two treatments.

What do you experts think? I’m a very patient person, so I don’t mind that the removal process may take upwards of a year. And, every time I use the Wrecking Balm on it it reminds me not to be foolish w/ my body modifications.
Edit: Also, I want to make sure that any removal process I choose won’t damage my skin too much. I want to get that same area re-tattoo’d with the correct symbol.

So im considering laser removal, tattooing over the tattoo with a nude color, or wrecking balm. Any advice????

my tattoo is behind my ear nickel sized, black, and 2 years old.
