My girlfriend’s sister just had a baby boy (yay) and that got us thinking about if we got married and had kids how things would be like. One thing that concerns her are my tattoos; they are playboy bunnies, which aren’t exactly a family oriented theme.
I play it off like they are just tattoos, not a big deal. My tattoos are not of naked girls or hardcore skulls and such. However, she is worried about raising a family with a father who as "soft port symbols permanently on his arms". Mostly I think she’s concerned about what other parents would think…maybe like her sister ?!? <wink>
Tattoo removal is not an option, to $$$ even if I wanted it. Since my bunnies are big, a coverup would require a basic half sleeve on each arm…not exactly solving the ink problem, but maybe bunny-less is better. And also something I’m not excited about doing.
Anyway, as a future parent to-be, have any other parents had issues with their ink ?
Pair of Bunnies
I’d be lying if I didn’t wish my bunnies were gone somedays and I had clean arms again …even for a day . I’ve forgotten what it’s like *not* to have bunnies peering back at me in the mirror. However most daysi love them.
I assure you that this is a serious question, and I am contemplating carrying-out a tattoo removal via a power sander. I have longed for a tattoo on my upper-bicep/shoulder to be removed for a long time.
Will a power sander effectively remove the ink pigment? How far down must I sand, and when should I stop? Furthermore, How should I go about caring for the open wound, should I choose to sand off my tattoo. What kind of scarring can I expect?
I appreiate your time and insight. Thank You
I was randomly browsing the internet for some tattoo removal methods and I got this website that had a big list of tattoo creams and solutions. They claimed this product called Tat Med was the #1 among all the others. I did some research on it and they say it will just fade the tattoo severely, but won’t remove it completely. I believe it, I would like to know if Tat Med would be worth the money and time to do so. Thanks…

Has anyone out there tried wrecking balm or tat-med topical tattoo removal? Any success stories
Has anyone used a tattoo removal product that actually works like "wrecking balm"ETC? Thanks
My wife had this customized tattoo, which is her ex name on her ribs area, I don’t want it for her to have that kind of tattoo, by the way I am going for a tattoo removal session this coming week end and I want my wife to also be a part of it, so my question is does numbing cream will really numb the skin area of the skin? externally and internally? we know that rib area for a tattoo is really painful procedure, how about for a laser removal? HELP me urgent!.. Thanks
I have a horrible tattoo. Hahaha. It is professional, but I do not want it at all.
Does anyone know any AT HOME tattoo removal methods? Creams from tattoo shops have helped fade it a tiny bit, but I need it gone. LOL.
Please help.
xoxo
I got a tattoo (my 8th) on my shoulder in June. It was exposed to the sun all summer long. The colors are pink, purple and orange. It began reacting in August with pimple like bumps. My regualr doctor prescribed prednisone, which took care of it..but once I was done with the meds it came back. I then went to a dermatologist who said it was an ink allergy. My tattoo artist and her colleagues disagree since it is not particular to a certain color…and even have a few bumps outside of the inked area.
The Dermatologist prescribed Protopic, an immunosuppressant, which is not doing much good. I have also read that it could possibly cause cancer.
I am desperate for some advice here, so please, if you are knowledgable about this subject help me. It itches!
p.s. This is a tattoo of a rose and a sunset which was done in honor of my daughter who passed away in April. Tattoo removal is not an option.
It was not responsible, I admit. I got the tattoo as a part of my grieving process for my daughter who was stillborn in April. I wore sundresses all summer because I wanted the whole world to see it. Thanks for your input.
I had a tattoo removal session from a tattoo store on my left shoulder 6 months ago. Although I kept applying polysporin on it, i got an infection and it left lots of scars. Now, although the black ink faded a bit, there are red skinned scars all over. My dermatologist game me some needles to flatten out the scars, but my skin still looks hideous with this 4*4 inch grey, red(scar) and yellow (yes, Im asian) tattoo. Is there possible treatment for this? My dermatologist doesn’t recommend plastic surgery – that I will still get scars all over again. I’m willing to even travel across the globe to get rid of this thing. Is there anyone who can help me?
P.S. Will skin grafting work?
What to do about a tattoo that is having a reaction because of sunlight exposure?

Nick, if I may ask…how long did your reaction last?
No one is willing to help me remove this so I need some safe alternatives. I look like I am painted up for Halloween. This was a huge mistake I made, but I need to know what creams or methods would help it to fade and to remove the pigmentation. I don’t want to become a recluse. Thanks.
I called laser centers (no luck) said it would turn grey, plastic surgeons and a tattoo removal place (they don’t do facial makeup). No one would help.
I had this done yesterday so I thought I might have a chance to remove the ink before it completely heals.
Wrecking Balm (a tattoo removal system) works by making the skin renew and resurface faster, or something like that.
So wouldn’t you assume that it might at least reduce the appearance of stretch marks?
It is a tattoo removal system cream and it is supposed to fade then delete the tattoo ink from your skin
