Hello…. I am a medium -dark skin person and I have a burn scar on my thigh. Most of the scar has over the years has blended with my skin. However, the inner outline of the scar is hyperpigmented (darker). I was wondering if there are any tattoo artists that would be able to mix colors in order to blend the darker area of the scar with the lighter area. I know that there is a new procedure out where hypopigmented (lighter) scars can be blended but they can not work with scars that are darker than your complexion. I have tried laser scar removal, creams, etc…. nothing has been effective. That is why I figured maybe a tattoo artist could blend it. Please keep in mind that I do not want your typical tattoo with tribal, butterflies, etc. I am simply looking for someone to be able to blend the darker parts or lighten them.
Thanks.
ABOUT 7X5 INCH TATTOO FROM NECK, ALL BLACK INK. ABOUT A YEAR OLD
I MEAN I LOVE TATTOOS. IM 19 AND HAVE A FULL SLEEVE AND ALL. BUT I JUST DONT WANT MY NECK DONE ANYMORE
sanders leave scars?
I DON"T WANT SCARS OR FOR IT TO BE VISIBLE THAT I HAD A TATTOO!
I DON"T WANT SCARS OR FOR IT TO BE VISIBLE THAT I HAD A TATTOO; I WANT SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN USED, TESTIMONIALS WOULD BE GREAT!
I was diagnosed with lichen planus when I was about 13. Over 10 years later I am left with scars all over my lower legs. They are darker pigmented there my normal skin tone. I have tried all kinds of bleaching creams and even had a tattoo artist tattoo over some of them to try to match my skin tone. I just want them to be less noticeable. I am so self conscious of these scars. Anyone have any suggestions. I thought about laser removal but I’m not sure if that will work either.
I had a tattoo removal session from a tattoo store on my left shoulder 6 months ago. Although I kept applying polysporin on it, i got an infection and it left lots of scars. Now, although the black ink faded a bit, there are red skinned scars all over. My dermatologist game me some needles to flatten out the scars, but my skin still looks hideous with this 4*4 inch grey, red(scar) and yellow (yes, Im asian) tattoo. Is there possible treatment for this? My dermatologist doesn’t recommend plastic surgery – that I will still get scars all over again. I’m willing to even travel across the globe to get rid of this thing. Is there anyone who can help me?
P.S. Will skin grafting work?
Please don’t suggest Dermablend. Dermablend doesn’t even cover my tattoo. Does anyone know of a really good body makeup that is waterproof which offers complete coverage for stretch marks or scars. Even deep ones. Is there a brand that you have used that works for you? I don’t want to know about stretch mark fading/removal oils or creams. I know that some of you might say stage makeup, but I’d like to know specific brand names. Thank you
Well, one drunken mistake in Amsterdam, and you wake up with a 11" x 6" tribal tattoo on your shin, I do however remember getting the tattoo.
I can’t afford a lazer removal, it will cost me thousands, and I would like to ware shorts again after the scars have healed and gone back to my usual flesh tone
I tried the cream, total scam, I thought I would end up with this f*cking thing on my leg for the rest of my life, but I remembered a site where true body modification fanatics go, ya know, those videos you send to your friends of people amputating them selves and sticking a cactus down their cock holes, those crazy BME guys lol, If these guys know a safe, DIY way to dismember them selves, then they know how to remove a tattoo the DIY way, and I found this picture, and its a little graphic, so you have been warned:

I was inspired, so I went on ebay, bought a scalpel kit and I bought some antiseptic and some of the proper gear, took about 6 shots of jagermeister, and I tried to cut it off, I made a shallow cut all the way around the tattoo, and I tried to peel the skin off, but the more I peeled the deeper I went, and I had to cut off the excess with some scissors, but there is a part that is still hanging off my leg which is too painful to remove with scissors, somebody on here must know how to do this.
I will wait until my leg has healed, and my shin skin has healed back onto my leg and then I will have another go.
Does anybody on here know how to do this?
Can you give me any pointers?
One stupid mistake shouldn’t cost me £5,000 to fix.
I need a good make up/concealer for covering dark / light spots on the body. I’m not after permanent changes (like whitening creams), I need something that works _right now_ not in 5 months. The kind of stuff they probably use in movies to make people look beautiful even if they have scars/tattoos.
Many Pinay have spots on their legs, rear and back. It’s that kind of spot removal I’m after, regardless of whether the skin is tan or white.
It has to be GOOD make up. Not something that ends up looking like a spot covered by a smear of cream.
I’ve tried HBC and checked out the brands there, and I’ve been to the stores in SM, but unless I’m blind and the salespeople ignorant, they don’t have good make up to cover dark/light spots on the body. All they have is whitening cream, or weak make up with no good coverage. (the smear of cream look)
I am in northern Cavite by Imus, but I’m willing to go almost anywhere to get this stuff!
So, I can’t afford laser removal and I’ve been reading online a lot. The creams seem to only work on some but do nothing for others, and I don’t want to spend 0+ for the 8 months or so that it would take to notice anything. There were several people who did this method and I’m wondering if it would work.
This is what you must have:
Sea salt
Gauze
Something like a block to wrap the gauze around
Other things I plan to use to help the process and prevent infection/scarring:
Neosporin
Alcohol prep pads
Lemons
What you do is wipe the are with alcohol to clean it, then wrap something with gauze that you can easily hold in your hand. Wet with water and dip in sea salt, rub the area of the tattoo until it is a deep red but not bleeding. After that, put lemon juice on it and rub a little more. When that’s done clean it up then patch it with sea salt and bandage with gauze. Leave on for 24 hours, take off then clean and put on neosporin. Let it scab and fall off.
Several people did this method and claimed it scabbed up and after a week or so fell off and the tattoo was completely gone. Has anyone else tried this?
A cover up would be out of the price range since it is my left and right arm that are covered on the upper part with one large piece on each and several small pieces around it. Neosporin is supposed to prevent bad scarring but I’d be willing to trade a few minor scars for these tats since they represent a part of my life I’d like to leave behind which is impossible when you have to look at it every day.
I’m 17, and I got a tattoo while drunk. The tattoo "artist" was a bit tipsy too, and I don’t like the tattoo. It’s not terrible, it’s slightly blurred, and I was wondering what to do about it. I just wish I hadn’t done it. Should I get a coverup tat? I know removal creams don’t really work, lasering leaves scars, at-home remedies are terrifying, and I have money but I’m underage so… Would a tattoo parlor take pity on me and fix it? Or should I just suck it up and wait until I’m 18?
No need to lecture me about how permanent tattoos are and how dumb I am, trust me I’ve learned my lesson. Keep it to yourself. I just need ideas on how to deal with my tat, cover or fix, etc.
Well, i took a normal tattoo aftercare routine and basically did the opposite. I messed it up as best I could… I could go into details about the abuse that would make a tattoo artist cringe. My poor tattoo, it scabbed like mad within only a couple of days and now it appears quite angry.
My girlfriend got a tattoo a few months ago, and has since decided against it…yeah, one of those bad ideas gone awry. Anyhow, she wants something that will do the job, but not be expensive. I know of laser treatments, but they are expensive and can leave scars. Anyone know of any other methods of removal such as creams or ointments that will fade it away?
I have a black outline on the inside of my wrist and was wondering if people could tell me what has worked for them for tattoo removal. Not really looking into laser; something under 0. What about those creams? Wrecking balm? Chemical peals? Scars?
I have one I was thinking of using it, but do not want to be left with scars, marks or any trace of it having been there at all. I already read their website, so I need advice from someone who actually used it – does it work on dark colors/ deep tattoos? How are the end results? Thanks!
I want a small tattoo on my wrist to kind of cover up a scar I have there, and to reflect the other 50 some scars on my arm. I though about maybe getting "Hope" and then getting a heart or something next to it… Any ideas?
Thanks =)
Yeah Alex… Your hilarious!
And guess what!?!??? I’m not emo!
My favorite color is pink, I have 82 purses, and I enjoy shoes! Oh! And my favorite store is probably American Eagle!
Well, I bought 50% TCA for tattoo removal. I did some researching online and read that it is also used to help make scars look better, but I only got instructions on how to use it for the tattoo removal. Does anyone know how to use the acid peel for a scar? I used a lot on my tats and now it looks like I have 3rd degree burns, I don’t want that on my scar.
