i know this was stupid to do so dont waste your time telling me that. A couple of my friends and i used non toxic pen ink and a needle to make small tattoos on our ankles. now that it is summer, its getting harder and harder to hide from my parents. are there any ways AT ALL to remove it? would burning the area/cutting the skin work?(id only resort to those if i was REALLY desperate).
My girlfriend’s sister just had a baby boy (yay) and that got us thinking about if we got married and had kids how things would be like. One thing that concerns her are my tattoos; they are playboy bunnies, which aren’t exactly a family oriented theme.
I play it off like they are just tattoos, not a big deal. My tattoos are not of naked girls or hardcore skulls and such. However, she is worried about raising a family with a father who as "soft port symbols permanently on his arms". Mostly I think she’s concerned about what other parents would think…maybe like her sister ?!? <wink>
Tattoo removal is not an option, to $$$ even if I wanted it. Since my bunnies are big, a coverup would require a basic half sleeve on each arm…not exactly solving the ink problem, but maybe bunny-less is better. And also something I’m not excited about doing.
Anyway, as a future parent to-be, have any other parents had issues with their ink ?
I’d be lying if I didn’t wish my bunnies were gone somedays and I had clean arms again …even for a day . I’ve forgotten what it’s like *not* to have bunnies peering back at me in the mirror. However most daysi love them.
I have a tattoo on back it’s not very big but I don’t like it. I got it w/o my parents permission but they know about it now but I want to get rid of it on my own too.. is there any creams I can buy that are not too expensive like 100 or less? USD.
Some of you may have read my other question about "What should I do". I didn’t mention it there, but part of the reason my parents are so mad about me having tats (I’m 16) is that they are in fact very rich. My parents are trying to force me to get laser tattoo removal which i wouldn’t mind, but as someone pointed out it would cost thousands of dollars. but they have more than enough money to pay for that. if anyone read my previous post about "what should i do", please tell me if this makes a difference, and what should happen. i got these tats about a month ago, how long do i have to wait to get them lasered? and i dont mind getting them lasered so if they want me to and have the $$ then i should, right? also, should i buy one of those other in-home tattoo removal products first to see if i can remove some of the ink that way so that the laser removal doesn’t take as many sessions?
You know the classic story, I got drunk last night and woke up today with a tattoo on my lower back.
It says "la bella vita" in pink.. the t isn’t even crossed and it isn’t centered..plus, its rather big.
This is not something I want to have on me forever, let alone have on me when I go on a family vacation with my parents.
I’ve heard soaking in the bathtub helps and laying in the sun.
I’ve also heard that putting wart removal will help.
I’m not able to get laser surgery and heard the creams for removal don’t actually work.
it was kinda for my boyfriend, and i love him to death and i don’t want him to think im backing out on my promise. but the truth is. I DON’T want a tattoo. It scares me. Yesterday i got the outline partially done. It’s on my hip and about 2X2 inches. I’m supposed to get color tomorrow but I just want it gone, It looks tacky. AND I DON’T LIKE IT. BTW i don’t think i mentioned I’m only 17 and If I told my parents they’ll flip but they would most likely pay for removal. I don’t want to like BETRAY my boyfriend because he was way excited about it. But, it doesn’t feel right and it makes me queasy. Like I feel all icky. I WANT IT OFF NOW. Would Laser be the best way? Would it erase the small simple black line? Or would creams do anything? it’s seriously just a really small outline of a dove. PLEASE HELP. I don’t think I’m emotionally ready for a tattoo. Please HELP. whats the best way to get this done??
I’m 23, got a tattoo on my lower left ab (right on the pant-line) thinking i wouldn’t ever have to show it to my parents (we haven’t gone on vacation. together in a decade). We’re going on vacation in a few weeks and we are definitely going to the beach. I went to the MAC store to ask for advice and they applied THREE different products (totalling well over ) that wasn’t even waterproof. I don’t use a lot of makeup so buying expensive foundation and coverup isn’t something i’m looking forward to. Any advice on how to cover it? My tattoo is 2 inches tall and i would only need to cover 1/2 inch of it because the rest would be hidden under my bathing suit. HELP!!
eventhough i’m 23, i still fear my parents–you don’t know my dad! I have really old-fashioned filipino parents and tattoos are definitely a ‘no’ in the fam. Telling them (at least right now) is not an option… thanks for the advice though.
1"x1" in the side of my foot. I still dont think it was THAT bad of an idea but it turned out not that great thanks to my awesome skills! I did it on 3/14/09. Its fairly shallow too and its black. I was thinking would my parents be more angry if I gave myself a crappy tattoo or got a good one done by a pro…and Im going with the second one.
So yes I want to get rid of it. A complete removal would be great. Ive seen these in home products and I could do that, but since its so new and shallow Im thinking there might be some concoction I can get together

I got a tattoo on my shoulder blade about 6 cm long, and 2 cm high, and my parents are making me get it removed. Any tips or advice I could use?
I just got a henna tattoo in black. Not the natural color. My parents are extremely disappointed. I know it won’t come off for another at most 3 weeks. So is there a good way to cover it up with like make up or something. It’s on my right wrist. No jewelry preferably. Thank you!

I have a dark tattoo of an outline of a star on my foot that I gave to myself and now my parents are VERY suspicious. I have tried covering it up with makeup but it just makes it look a little less noticeable. Is there a more intense makeup I could use? Or maybe like some other way to cover it up?
