I have a tattoo that i totally regret,yes i was younger,stupid and not really all there when it got done (physically i was there) if you know what i mean. Now years later, i hate it so much and i try my best to cover it up with makeup sometimes a bandaid. But what bothers me the most is when people ask me about it,i just wanna die inside. I hear it almost everyday,what is it from the ones that dont know what it means and why from the ones who do? But today while at work some random stranger just got to me by what he said now i cant get it outta my mind. So anyway what options do i have as far as removal? Does it hurt alot? Will i have a scar much worse than the tattoo? I’m not ugly i know that so will i mess up my face by scarring it this way? Oh by the way the tattoo is nickel size next to corner of my left eye.
Well its of something i am ashamed of so im sorry i rather not say,i had a bad past,i got over all that,it still shows with makeup though. Theres a place here that charges 0 per square inch,which i guess aint bad,im just scared,of making it worse. I can tolerate the pain i just want God to help me be rid of this already. Im beginning to hate myself.

I’m 23, got a tattoo on my lower left ab (right on the pant-line) thinking i wouldn’t ever have to show it to my parents (we haven’t gone on vacation. together in a decade). We’re going on vacation in a few weeks and we are definitely going to the beach. I went to the MAC store to ask for advice and they applied THREE different products (totalling well over ) that wasn’t even waterproof. I don’t use a lot of makeup so buying expensive foundation and coverup isn’t something i’m looking forward to. Any advice on how to cover it? My tattoo is 2 inches tall and i would only need to cover 1/2 inch of it because the rest would be hidden under my bathing suit. HELP!!
eventhough i’m 23, i still fear my parents–you don’t know my dad! I have really old-fashioned filipino parents and tattoos are definitely a ‘no’ in the fam. Telling them (at least right now) is not an option… thanks for the advice though.

besides removing or covering up a tattoo… does anyone know of something that can fade away the tattoo? or if not does anyone know a really good makeup that covers it up? I tried the kind they have at the cosmetics counter at the mall….. it does not work… anyone?

For a performace tattoo shows so i have to cover it up. does anyone know a good way to do it with makeup. If you know a way so the makeup with not come off easily cause my performance is 30min stright through so i dont want it to come off with sweat or anything.

Yes, I know. . .regrettable tattoos, NOT a good idea. I accept I was an idiot. But moving on. . .I have been told that I MAY get good results from laser removal, but there is a good chance that there will be a "shadow" of the tattoo left. Um, what's the point then? The tattoo is smallish, on my right back shoulder blade area, and that is not a place where it is easy to blend in a coverup type makeup. I am thinking of asking around to have the tattoo reworked but I hear that can be disastrous, too. The tat is a heart with a name on a banner, Latin words written on top. The name on the banner is the problem, obviously. My skin is VERY white and the tat is boldly colored red, blue, some yellow, and black. It really stands out against my skin. Any experience with options, good or bad? Once again, yep, I know this was a dumb thing to do!
I think I would like a really good tat to cover it up. My dermatologist (a family friend) said that lasers are too often "hit and miss". I would just rather have a good cover up tat than have a "shadow" of a regrettable tat!

I'm trying to find some good tattoo cover up makeup that won't rub off on clothes. I have a big tattoo on my back and my wedding dress has an opening right where my tat is. The problem is, if I don't cover it up, it will just look like a blob because the entire thing won't be showing through. Otherwise I wouldn't have a problem showing it.

Do you know of a good makeup I can order? Have you used it before?

I think I want to get a tattoo on both my inner wrists ( or at least one wrist). Probably a simple shooting star on one and then the words "strength. courage. wisdom." in cursive on the other. And they probably won't have color. How much might this costs?

I need to cover up my tattoo sleeve with out makeup. I am a manager at a restuarant, where make-up is not ideal. We have to wear short sleeve shirts. I am looking for some sort of shirt sleeve type option????
