I have a giant black tattoo on my leg which I HATE and need gone. However, I cannot afford laser treatments and would love to just fade it enough to where I can cover it. I have heard of creams and chemical peels, a lot of people say they don’t work, but perhaps they aren’t using them long enough? Is there anything else I can do other than laser? I hate living with this tattoo and it haunts me everyday for the past 7 years!

A few months back I got a tattoo on my rib cage. The artist did a horrid job and the ink spread everywhere. Luckily its just an outline of the rest of the work that I wanted to get done, but the outline is thick.
I plan on getting laser treatments done but I would really like to keep the tattoo just get rid of the spread ink. Is that possible? And is the ink that has spread easier to remove than the rest?

I am interested in removing a tattoo and have already received laser treatments. These are expensive, painful, and damage the skin. I am so desperate to get rid of this ugly thing that I’m almost too pessimistic about tattoo removal methods. The TatBGone cream sounds too good to be true however. I cannot info about the product on any valid websites (i.e. FDA, American Dermatological Association, etc.) I am hesitant to spend money on a product that has no integrity. If anyone has actually used this product, please let me know the details of your results and how long and consistently you have been applying this cream. Thanks!!!

I have had about four laser treatments for large tat removal, I don’t have alot of money for these procedures and I have bought tat b gone with not much success, I heard about Wrecking balm available to diminish tattoo’s. Is this product effective or can anyone recommend something else?

My girlfriend got a tattoo a few months ago, and has since decided against it…yeah, one of those bad ideas gone awry. Anyhow, she wants something that will do the job, but not be expensive. I know of laser treatments, but they are expensive and can leave scars. Anyone know of any other methods of removal such as creams or ointments that will fade it away?

I have 3 stars on my hip bone that I regret, I did about 7 laser treatments, then I got pregnant and stopped them… my tattoo is like gray now, it was black… so I was wondering if anyone out there has tried a tattoo removal cream that worked?! & if so, do you have any pictures? My 1st star is about an inch and a half and the other 2 are smaller… thanks for any help you can give me!
Also, please include prices, and how long it took to fade away completely… thanks

I know that for black ink tattoos, usually several sessions are required to completely remove a tattoo. However, if you scrub it excessively, apply chemicals, or do anything else to remove some of the ink before you go in for the laser, will it help at all meaning that there would have to be less laser treatments/sessions? I read somewhere that the more ink that’s in a tattoo, the more laser sessions you have to go through to get rid of it. If i get some of the ink out before hand, will it require less sessions?

So I have this tattoo that I don’t want anymore! It was a spontaneous act and it was a bad decision! LOL…I have 2 other ones that I love but there’s this one that I hate!

Does anyone know anything about tattoo removal besides laser treatments. I have been considering Wrecking Balm. I’ve heard it’s really good but if anyone knows anything…I would greatly appreciate your input! Thanks!
I have thought about cover up but it’s on my wrist and I’d rather it not be there all together. If I get it covered it would be relativly big!

I’ve had roughly 5 laser treatments for my tattoo. It is fading, but I’m curious as to whether putting a skin lightening cream in conjunction with my treatments will help fade it faster? This would be of course just to spare myself added surgery (expenses) as well as pain (the tattoo is on my back and the surgery feels worse every time).

Just wondering if anyone has done this/recommends this?
If not, is there anything else I can do to move it along?

Please only reply if you’ve actually used one of these products, had a tattoo removed by laser, or are a doctor or laser technician who would know if these products work.

I have a rather large tattoo on my shoulder, it is red and black and I have fair color skin. I have gone through 2 laser treatments (top of the line Q Switch Laser) but haven’t noticed any drastic change in the tattoo’s appearance, just some fuzziness around the edges. The clinic I go to has told me that it may take a couple more sessions before I notice any drastic lightening of the tattoo, and may take up to 15 sessions to remove it completely, which is disappointing to me because I thought I’d notice some changes already. Would I be better off trying one of these creams along with the laser treatments or even abandoning the laser in place of the cream all together?

I had a few laser treatments that lightened my tattoo but didn’t remove it. It also left a scar in the shape of the tattoo. ALSO, if you’ve had a cover-up and you try to remove it, will you have to go through both layers? I have one that was green and is now black, and I’ve heard that green is harder to remove than black. Thanks!

Out of sheer curiosity, I’m hearing a lot about tattoo removal cremes that, over the course of 6 months to a year, fade your tattoo until it’s gone. I know that it actually disappearing is not the usual result, but I have heard that in most cases, it fades considerably. I also know that the alternative is a painful and expensive laser treatment, which takes several procedures to succesfully remove the tat. But this brings me to ask, why wouldn’t you use the fading system until it stopped working, thereby reducing the amount of laser treatments (and therefore, pain and cost) you’d need to remove the tattoo? Any ideas? And by the way, I’m talking about traditional tattoos, not that new ink that breaks down with one laser treatment. Thanks.

I’ve got a few tattoos, but a fairly large one on my lower back that I do not like. I got it on a whim and obviously I’m now regretting it.

Does anyone know any good creams to remove it? I *absolutely cannot* afford laser treatments, so no answers about that please…
I’ve heard of tat2begone, wrecking balm, and a few others.

Has anyone used the creams themselves? Please help me out… thanks.
