i’m thinking about getting a tattoo but want to weigh my options for after when/if i want to remove it. i’ve been reading that there are removal/fading creams that act as chemical peels, but do these really work? has anyone tried them?

when they are just gonna get them removed, I heard a girl say the other day when she was getting a tattoo that she is probably going to have it removed in 5 years…stupid, is it that easy to remove tattoos? cause last time I heard the creams didnt work and laser removal just makes a scarred outline.

Instead of asking if a tattoo hurts and where would be the best place to get your tattoo placed so it hurts the least you should be talking to your artist about where your particular design would look best to compliment your body’s structure and the underlying musculature. If you can’t handle a little pain than maybe you should stick to henna and stick ons. YES tattoos can hurt!!!! Deal with it. If it was super painful than no one would get their second tattoo. I’m sorry if I sound a little agressive on this, but it seems like every second question is asking if getting a tattoo hurts or where it should be placed or what you should get. No one can tell you what you should get or where you should get it. This is something you have to decide with your artist. If you can’t make up your mind than you are not ready to get a tattoo.

Here is some more advice: If you are under 18, dont get a tattoo. If you aren’t already heavily tattooed, dont get anything on your hands or neck. Don’t get your boyfriend or girlfriends name tattooed on you. Dont get your wife or husbands name tattooed on you. Dont try to make your own machine, ink or tattoo. Dont have your buddy who just bought a kit online get anywhere near your skin. Yes, tattoos look like crap sometimes when healing. Yes they scab, yes they peel, yes they sometimes look faded before they fully heal. NO you can’t remove a tattoo with some magical cream. Yes laser removal is very painful and very expensive. No one can tell you what a tattoo will cost other than the artist doing it. No, you can’t cram a lot of detail into a tiny tattoo. Yes, in certain fields visible tattoos can limit your job prospects but most tattoos can be covered by clothes. And finally above all else, pay attention to your tattoo artists after care instructions. Everyone uses different ink and techniques and have different after care instructions. If they dont go over aftercare instructions with you than you probably got your tattoo done by the wrong person. Good luck!!

Does anyone know if it actually works??

I was thinking of getting a tattoo.. not any time soon, but still..
I wanna know that there’s a way to remove it [without costly and painful laser removal] in case I regret it in the distant future..

So yeah, don’t Google facts. I’d like personal experiences :)

I plan on getting a tattoo no more than one or two inches thick on my wrist. will I be able to cover it up with watches, wristbands, or something of that sort?

I can’t wear long sleeve undershirts under scrubs because I am super hot blooded, and get hot very easily. I start sweating.

please don’t be rude!

I have dark red stretch marks all over my arms and my shoulders.

Could getting a Tattoo be able to cover them up?
Could one get a Tat over stretch marks?

thank you.

I need advice from anyone that knows anything about this product. I’m thinking of getting a tattoo removed and possibly using this product. If anyone has any advice let me know. Thanks

I’m thinking about getting a tattoo of mine removed for personal reasons.
I know about lasers treatments, but was wondering how effective they were, and if there are other–better–methods of removal.

Some facts about my tattoo:
-It’s small, my thumb can basically cover most of it.
-It’s all black.
-It’s in an area where light almost never hits it, so it hasn’t faded.
-I’ve had it for 3 or 4 years. I think 4.
-I’m naturally pale. Think Anne Hathaway or Mary Louise Parker.
-My body is pretty good at healing itself.
-I’m healthy.
-I do have sensitive skin though.

From what I’ve read, light skin + black tattoo =greatest success. But can it go away completely? Or will it just be faded? Any tips for how to find the appropriate doctor/technician?

I have some nasty scars on my arms that I am thinking of covering up with a large tattoo? Will it successfully cover them up, because they are big and noticeable?
I have four tattoos already. 3 on my back and one on my ankle, so I know the pain, but would getting it over scars hurt more then the others? Getting a tattoo might be more affordable than laser removal unless I can’t get a job because of my arm tattoos.

I’m looking into getting a tattoo removed or at least faded out so I can place a half-sleeve on top of it and was wondering what options were out there other than laser removal? Thanks.

me and my friends are planning on getting a tattoo soon but our parents won’t know. we were planning on using makeup to keep the tats a secret 4 a while. so how soon after gettig our tats will it be ok to cover it with makeup?

Is it even worth getting a tattoo removed? Will there be a scar after removal?

I’m getting a tattoo on thursday on my wrist, the thing is i’m not allowed to have tattoos showing at work, so i’ll have to have a plaster cover it until its healed and then my watch will cover it. hold long after getting a new tattoo is it ok to keep it cover up for 6 hours a day with a plaster?

I have some old scars on my arms and have been thinking of getting a tattoo over one of my arms to cover it up. Will the tattoo completely cover it up or will the scars ruin the over all look of the tattoo?
Sorry, I forgot to mention the severity of the scar. Its a self-inflicted scar, they are pretty thick but not too deep. I started using this treatment for scars but it only softened it in some areas. The scars are about 5 years old.
