I want to join the Navy but I have a tattoo above the neck line (behind my ear). I’m planning on getting it removed by laser treatment but I heard that if you used a tattoo fading cream before hand, it will take less sessions for the laser removal process!?!? If this is true, I’d love to save some cash on unnecessary treatments.
I already discussed it with my recruiter and he said nooooo way can it be above the neck line no exceptions! And tattoo parlors that offer tattoo removal are doing it illegally…they’re not licensed to do so. Only doctors.

i have gone to see many doctors for a form of removal, but i find it to be very expensive because laser removal isn’t an option for me so i have recently decided to recolor it because it looks really old. I was wondering if it was stupid to redo it in Orange. i was looking up to see if the orange would be made with the cinnabar just like the red. would that be dumb? someone help!

Im 16 and i got a tattoo of my exs name on my hip, i didnt think about the size and place. The guy that did it was my friends brother and it is about a half inch tall and too far up on my hip, its so far up that i cant wear bathing suits and i have to wear my pants really high on my hips. I obviosly cant pay for laser removal and i cant go to the doctors for any other process, ive heard of the creams and of a girl who just cut over the tattoo and put peroxide in hers but i really dont want to have to tell my mom considering Ive hidden it since i was 14. will that really work or are there any home remedies. I really hate pain and the sound ofscapping it sounds horrible. I wouldnt mind the scar of just the name but i dont want the ink.

And please dont give me bullshit answers.

well, I already have a slight idea of the types of responses I am going to get. Keep in mind I am not joking, I have a tattoo on my right lower back ( my zodiac sign ) Everyone knows how INCREDIBILITY EXPENSIVE it is for a doctors approved tattoo removal, and that all those creams and skin buffers they sell never have good reviews. So I have been asking myself just how much I dislike my tattoo…. Do I dislike it enough to have a big scar instead? I think my answer might be yes. NOW. I know the ink can’t possibly be TOO deep to try this, is it? Think it will work doing it a little bit every night? Give me your input please.

Hi..I would like to know if anyone has any info about this procedure that they can share. I am looking for real answers please as I am beyond the "you should have thought about it b4 you got it done" we all make mistakes. I am and African American with dark skin and wanted to know if I am a good canditate for tattoo removal by laser. The ink is Black and was done professionally. the area is about 2.5 * 2.5 inches and it is more of an outline…it doesn’t have too much shading. I also wanted to know if anyone knows how the lenghth of time the ink has been in the skin affects removal. Some websites say older tattoos are harder to remove, and some websites say the opposite that new tattoos are harder to remove. Any comments or personal experiences anyone can share is greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has tried any Doctors in the Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia area that they are satisfied with please share thier information. Thanks in advance

Okay my friend has two tats he needs to get rid of asap, he tried one session of laser for 30 seconds, hurted like hell, he’s never doing that again. We were looking into TCA, i’m seeing it everywhere on the net. I even looked here in answers. One person said it did not work for them at all, another said it worked great. The tats are both small, one on the side of the neck, the other on the underside of the wrist. What do you think about TCA and do you know if any doctors do it for tattoo removal other than just a chemical peel?
wow you guys are quick! Anywho, concerning why; that is a long story. but does the fact that they are quite new mean that it will be a lil easier to remove them? oh and its not because he changed his mind about them either.
okay i see that laser treatment is the only way to go. Do they give a good anesthesia and how long do you guys think it will take to remove them completely?

Has there been a true account that Tat-B-Gone really removes a tattoo? Has anybody ever heard of the chemical peel method? Starting to get bored with my tattoos and I don’t like doctors holding a knife to my skin and there’s no way I’m letting them freeze my skin and put a freaking belt sander to it. Those methods are out. Have any of you heard of the cream or chemical peel methods?

I figure it’s only a matter of time before doctors can guarantee the removal of tattoos… with a hefty price of course..

wut do u think?
I know about those.

but they all involve horrible scarring or they can’t guarantee that the tattoo will be completely removed.

Pls let me know what your experience of NYC tattoo removal doctors are like. So far I’ve visited 2 doctors but found them unhelpful and rude. Thanks

It seems like every year or two there are jumps forward in the tattoo laser removal technology. I've got a pretty big one I'd like to remove with many colors and I'm waiting until the tech makes the process easier and more effective. How do I find out the doctors with the latest tools?
