So at the age of 18, I got a cute flower tattoo on my shoulder. Two years later, after working through some personal problems, I decided to add an om to the tattoo and expand the design… (yoga had helped me recover from a bad depression)… the artist basically screwed up and I have since had another artist "fix" the design.
Now, it is quite large and something I have grown to hate.
Laser removal is possible, but extremely expensive and time consuming and painful.
Surgical excision is my 2nd option but will leave a rather large scar.
Cant decide whether or not to go ahead w the removal, or to maybe add to it, making it a larger "piece" and living w it…
Stressed. Ugh.
Please help. Maybe someone out there has gone through the same thing?

well, my son who is now 10 years old got struck with a pen on the lip when he was about 5 years old.. The reason why I didn’t really do anything at first was b/c the spot on his lip that was black was minor.. not even noticable, But now its a different story very noticable..
I heard that since its a ink on his lip Tattoo removal lassers can remove tattoo’s very efficiently..
I would love to hear other options.. BTW any operation will mess up his lips.. thats why i want to hear other options..
I have a set of 2 script tattoos, one down the side of each foot, that I absolutely adore! The problem is that the artist who did the tattoos was a family friend, and an amateur. So while I love the tattoos themselves, the quality isn’t quite what I had hoped it would be. It has been about a year and the Artist has neglected to even schedule a touch up with me. My roommate got a similar tattoo, and it has prompted me to do some thinking about my own. I don’t want to cover them up or remove them, but I want them to look better. But the black ink has bled out in places, and I feat that cover up or removal are my only options.
Its about three years old, 4 inches in height, its placed between my hip bone and pelvic bone and rather low. I got it during my "dark" time I guess you could say, lol. It was supposed to be a "gothic" butterfly and I guess from the area it was placed it healed fuzzy and now looks like a dragon. Would I be able to cover it with another butterfly using brighter colors like fuschia and such? I have another tattoo on my back that I have done one session of laser removal and I will NEVER go through that again! I can live with that one…..so what are my options? Live with this one or is a pretty cover up possible?
Thanks,
Jodi

I’ve had a tiny white star on the inside of my left wrist for a year. I decided I wanted something a little bit more noticeable, but still discreet. After a few months of thinking, I decided to cover up the white star with a slightly larger (about the size of a dime), pink star that is filled in. I’ve only had it for 48 hours, and I already dislike it. I thought it was going to be much more discreet than it is, and as a college student majoring in education, I am now very worried about my job options. What do you think I should do? I’ve already researched removal, but I am just not sure. Is it harder to remove a newer tattoo or an older one? And is pink pigment tougher to remove or easier? Will it possibly fade? If you can answer any of these questions, I would greatly appreciate it!
Hi there ![]()
I am in my mid 20’s and have considered myself a wiccan/pagan (although not in a coven etc) for about the last ten years. After much research recently, reading, advice and a lot of soul searching i have decided that i would like to begin going to church and to become a Christian…I feel a strong inner pull telling me that God is the way for me now and i would like to learn more about Christianity and the Church…I was never brought up with any religion and sort of "fell into" wicca because i had a lot of similar values. My question is, I have a tattoo on my upper back of a pentagram. NOT any symbol of the devil or anything like that, it was in symbol of the elements (earth, air, fire and water) and spirit. I worry that having this tattoo, although covered at all times may hinder my wanting to become a Christian? Will god turn me away for having this on my body? Removal really isnt an option, and in my mind it still represents the elements, which I will continue to have respect for but devoting myself to God. I feel like I am a horrible person..and i would undo this if i could…what do you think? will it hinder me, in this life, in the next? or is it simply a tattoo and i should just continue on my new path without stressing? Serious answers would really be appreciated
Thankyou! xx
I DON"T WANT SCARS OR FOR IT TO BE VISIBLE THAT I HAD A TATTOO!
I DON"T WANT SCARS OR FOR IT TO BE VISIBLE THAT I HAD A TATTOO; I WANT SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN USED, TESTIMONIALS WOULD BE GREAT!
My boyfriends dream is to go to the marines and i support him… he has a large tatto on his arm and he is going to get it removed any suggestions?

(Thats him and me) his tatto means faith
and how much would they cost?
My girlfriend’s sister just had a baby boy (yay) and that got us thinking about if we got married and had kids how things would be like. One thing that concerns her are my tattoos; they are playboy bunnies, which aren’t exactly a family oriented theme.
I play it off like they are just tattoos, not a big deal. My tattoos are not of naked girls or hardcore skulls and such. However, she is worried about raising a family with a father who as "soft port symbols permanently on his arms". Mostly I think she’s concerned about what other parents would think…maybe like her sister ?!? <wink>
Tattoo removal is not an option, to $$$ even if I wanted it. Since my bunnies are big, a coverup would require a basic half sleeve on each arm…not exactly solving the ink problem, but maybe bunny-less is better. And also something I’m not excited about doing.
Anyway, as a future parent to-be, have any other parents had issues with their ink ?
I’d be lying if I didn’t wish my bunnies were gone somedays and I had clean arms again …even for a day . I’ve forgotten what it’s like *not* to have bunnies peering back at me in the mirror. However most daysi love them.
i just got a new tattoo and i really like it but there is one small part that just doesn’t look right, i was wondering if i could fade that one spot and then get someone to redo it better.
if this stuff doesn’t work what could be my next option?
i have gone to see many doctors for a form of removal, but i find it to be very expensive because laser removal isn’t an option for me so i have recently decided to recolor it because it looks really old. I was wondering if it was stupid to redo it in Orange. i was looking up to see if the orange would be made with the cinnabar just like the red. would that be dumb? someone help!
I’m looking for the best options for hair removal now that I’ve got a tattoo. I usually use veet but have found out it can be harmful to the pigments in my tattoo. What about waxing or shaving? What’s the best way for hair removal?
im exploring all options and i know all about lazer removal but i prefer the sound of excision but i dont know if it can be done on the inside of my wrist? anyone have any ideas??
I have a tattoo on my foot, kinda sizable

(i got it a few years ago, way before thinking about joining the Navy)
I am considering going into the Navy in a couple years when I am done with college.
I know they have let up on their general tattoo rules (i am planning a large back piece) but I think the foot may get me in trouble. It does go up onto my ankle a lil bit.
Good quality make-up could hide it I suppose or of course I can look into removal options.
So if you have any knowledge on this feel free to reply!
